This Collection of drawings spans many years and many different models and forms the study base for all the other figurative work. These drawings encompass a variety of styles using line,form and sometimes minimal colour to explore the myriad of possibilities both within the human form and without as part of a larger composition. John taught Life Drawing and Anatomy for two hours a week for Northampton College for seventeen years and although he rarely made drawings during these sessions he always maintained the discipline of drawing every week and still does to this day. Hence the size of this collection of which these are just a few, and which is still growing. |
