I knew
that I wanted to find another way to express myself in paint for
a long time, but despite a lot of experiments the work that I was
looking for kept eluding me. I didn't realise it at the time but
the problem was that although I wanted to work in a much more abstract
fashion, I didn't want to "throw the girls out with the bathwater".
Finally after over a year in the doldrums something clicked. The
paintings that you see below are some of the results, and although
I hope that the work will continue to grow and develop, I feel that
I have found a course which will last a long while. |
